Autonomous software can propose and carry out consequential actions across the systems organizations already use. That creates a control problem: teams need a clear way to decide what may proceed and evidence of what followed.
Aarmos is the consequence-control runtime for autonomous software. It helps teams govern supported execution paths and produce evidence that can be inspected and verified independently.

The name
Aarmos began as the project's internal working name, expanded as AI Action Runtime Management Operating System. The acronym is part of the project's origin, not the current definition of the product.
