Aarmos is infrastructure. Infrastructure is priced around the value it delivers, not the number of people using it. The principles below shape every pricing decision we make, and the ones we deliberately defer.

Six principles

The primitives are free. Forever.
Verification, the receipt format, the AVAR spec, and the single-user local runtime are always free. A standard with a paywall is not a standard.

Evaluation is an edition, not a promotion.
We expect the Evaluation to remain free. Its capabilities and limits will evolve as Aarmos grows, and we will preserve a meaningful free experience. Anything you have already governed — receipts, policies, exports — stays yours and stays verifiable offline.

Collaboration is paid.
One person governing their own agents pays nothing. Two or more people sharing policies, authorities, or receipts is where value compounds — and where we charge.

No seat pricing. No token metering. No per-agent fees.
Governance value does not scale with headcount, prompt volume, or agent count. Tying our revenue to someone else's API bill would make us adversarial to our own customers.

Three tiers. Not four.
Evaluation, Team, and Enterprise. Design Partner is an invite-only program, not a fourth plan. If a customer needs help choosing, we designed the tiers wrong.

Individual champions should be able to buy Team without a procurement cycle. Enterprise buyers should not be asked to configure their own contract from a webpage.
